Featured Activity: Ink'd String
Utilizing surrealism as a starting point for art making, participants will engage in the artistic process without any prior knowledge or experience. Surrealism naturally lends itself to the weird and random and is driven by chance, alleviating the pressure a person might place on themselves when approaching art-making. The art project will challenge participants to go beyond their artistic comfort zone and create an art piece that fully reflects their personal approach to problem-solving. This project is extremely hands-on, messy, and challenging in all the right ways. We ask that participants enter the space with an open mind and a willingness to take risks.
