Artspace offers team building activities that are energetic, engaging, and results oriented. Participants can expect activities that will help to build communication, trust, creativity, and comradery. Whether you need a new challenge to shake things up or a team bonding experience, Artspace and our facilitator will work with you to curate the perfect activities for your group. We have a 10-person minimum and we can accommodate groups up to 20 people.

Pricing

  • $1,000 // 1 hour team building for 10 people,  2 hour space rental 
  • Additional Participants: $100/person 
  • 20% Discount for Student Groups and Non-Profit Organizations

Scheduling

Creative team building experiences can be scheduled for Mondays through Fridays between 9am-5pm during the months of October 2022 to May 2023. 

Your experience includes a bright, open room in our historic building for 2 hours, one of which will be an hour of team building activities led by a professional facilitator, and all materials needed. Clients are welcome to use their second hour for a team meeting or lunch. 

Artspace does not provide food for your team building experience but we are happy to provide you with suggestions for catering from a downtown Raleigh restaurant.

Team Building Activities

Each activity we offer can easily be adapted to your group’s interests and needs! Let us know your learning goals or access needs in the application and we will do our best to make reasonable accommodations. These are a few examples of team building activities we offer.

Blind Drawing

Participants are paired up and seated back to back. One person is tasked with describing an image that is provided to them, while the other person draws that image based solely on descriptions and answers to their clarifying questions.

Exquisite Corpse

Participants take turns creatively drawing sections of a character, folding over and hiding their contributions as the activity progresses. The final step is a grand reveal as participants unfold to unveiling their unique character designs. 

Collaborative Artworks

Through this guided art making experience, participants will work with different design elements such as line, shape, or color to create a large-scale collaborative art piece.

Location + Parking

Artspace is located in downtown Raleigh at 201 E Davie St. Metered parking is available nearby and free after 6:00pm. There are also several pay lots/decks nearby: City Market parking lot, Blount Street parking deck, and several Secure P lots for night + weekend parking (314 E Davie St, 415 S Person St, 417 S Person St).

Artspace is part of a Learning Community of 11 arts organizations that collaborate to advocate for and improve access to the arts for people with disabilities. The collective is funded in part by the City of Raleigh Arts Commission and the United Arts Council of Raleigh + Wake County.
