Artspace is

a non-profit visual arts center located in the heart of Downtown Raleigh. We are a space for creativity, arts education and social practice composed of artist residencies and exhibitions, arts education for all ages and abilities, and community outreach. We believe art should be celebrated and valued as an essential part of our vibrant and healthy community.

Visit Artspace for exhibitions highlighting local and national artists in our three galleries, as well as throughout the building, and meet our studio artists and artists in residence. There are over twenty-five artists’ studios, with artists working in a variety of media: drawing/painting, mixed media, jewelry, printmaking, fibers and more. Visit our artists to discover the inspiration behind the piece, learn a new technique or buy an original work of art.

Artspace also offers art classes, artist talks, and events both in our building and in the community throughout the year for both youths and adults.
