CASSIE SILBER ANCONA has been immersed in art for as long as she can remember. From her earliest years drawing, painting and experimenting with clay, to her current explorations in printmaking, her creative practice reflects a lifelong devotion to making and experiencing art. Her work is inspired by the natural world and the spirit of animals, often blending representational forms with elements of abstraction. Color plays a central role in her process—radiant, energetic hues infuse her paintings and prints with movement and vitality.
Painting has become her primary voice, allowing her to explore both the grounding presence of animals, nature and the expressive possibilities of abstraction. Recently, her curiosity has led her into the world of printmaking, where she continues to expand her artistic language. Originally from New York, Cassie has lived in Austin, Texas, and now resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Each place has shaped her perspective, contributing to a body of work that is both personal and inviting in its resonance.
