DAWN RONCO is a collage/mixed media artist living in Raleigh, N.C. A lifelong creative, she became hooked on the limitless creative possibilities of mixed media in 2023. Since then, she has constantly studied under experts and practiced art-making, inspired by a growing collection of painted or cast-off paper, unintended mark-making tools, and random dimensional items.
Her aesthetic was shaped by her first decades of life in rural New England; she often uses natural and shoreline imagery, along with rustic textures, in her art. The inclusion of fabric, fiber, photography, and words reflects her other creative endeavors.
