SUSAN MILLER is a mixed media artist from Raleigh, NC. She finds joy and magic in the creative process, working with paint, paper, inks, stamps, stencils, markers, pens and pencils. Her art consists of many layers of intuitive painting, mark-making and color shifting with realistic portraiture and wildlife rendering. It culminates in a beautiful blend of soul stirring images that resonate deeply with the viewer’s soul. As an artist, Susan is fascinated by the aliveness of wildlife, animals, people’s faces, and botanicals; all things whimsical, magical and woodsy. She adores the details, the deep dive into the sacred beauty of creation and nature. She hopes to bring those who experience her art inspiration and joy.
Susan is also an expressive arts therapist, a creativity coach and spiritual director in her own practices, Miller Counseling Services, PC and Lighted Path(R) Coaching and Art Studio.
She offers intuitive soul painting and other creative workshops as well as her own inspired artwork and commissions of pet/people portraits. She is a resident artist at 311 Gallery, Raleigh, NC.
