M.E. MILLER is a multidisciplinary mixed-media artist whose work explores the intersection of art, design, memory, and lived experience. Through painting and mixed-media processes, she creates evocative works that invite personal reflection and interpretation.
Miller earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Indiana University in 2009 and a Master of Industrial Design from North Carolina State University in 2012. She spent more than a decade working in design strategy, user experience, and product development, developing expertise in storytelling, research, and human-centered design.
In 2024, she founded FA/D Studios, an independent practice that unites her passions for Fine Art and Design. Her design background continues to inform her artistic approach, where she constructs visual experiences that suggest narratives without fully defining them, creating space for viewers to form their own connections and interpretations.
At the core of Miller’s practice is a commitment to uncovering depth within simplicity. Themes of solitude, memory, transformation, and place frequently emerge in her work, reflecting both personal experiences and the broader complexities of the human condition.
