Canvas wrapped in pink and red threads to create an abstract geometric design

AMANDA MCLAURIN is an artist obsessed with color, shape, and texture.

With a desire to create pieces that were both fiber-based and sculptural, she began wrapping wood panels with wool and mercerized cotton. She loves exploring unexpected color stories and gathers inspiration from vintage quilt squares, which are mimicked in the patterns of her color blocks.
