SHANNON CORGAN is an artist from Southern Illinois who has been living and working in Durham, North Carolina since 2024. Lately, she’s been creating graphite drawings depicting figurative and animalistic scenes inspired by the intensity and subjectivity found in moments of heartbreak, laughter, fear, and isolation. Corgan aims to create images that serve as jumping-off points for raw conversation about the important moments in our lives that may otherwise be nearly impossible to put into words.
