JANE CHEEK is a Raleigh based mixed media artist who paints and sews archival acetate to create installations, art quilts and collages. Jane’s colorful, stylized, and whimsical work is about the moments of reflection and introspection she discovers while in nature.
Jane was born in North Carolina and received a BA in Art Studies from NC State and a K-12 Visual Arts Teacher Certification from East Carolina University. She has exhibited her art in various group and solo exhibitions throughout the Triangle, including at Artspace, 311 Gallery, and Durham Art Guild.
