Vicki Bloom is a native Midwesterner with an undergraduate degree in Art History from the University of Michigan and Masters from Wayne State in Library Science. She worked as a librarian and educator until 2022. Throughout her professional career, however, she never lost sight on her love of art, enrolling in numerous art classes and workshops from patient and inspiring teachers. Now retired and living in NC, Vicki has been able to deepen her practice, explore new ways of working, and connect with other artists. Her paintings, encaustic works and monotypes have been displayed at local galleries and shows in North Carolina, Michigan, Indiana and California.
