Due to the growing concerns over COVID-19 and the health and safety of our community, Artspace is temporarily closed to visitors as of Tuesday, March 17 (Please note we will not be open for the April 3rd First Friday).

We will continue to communicate the status of our open hours, upcoming programs, classes and events via our website, social media and email communications.

During this time, we are working on new ways to engage with us virtually:

  • Sign up for our enews for our weekly Ways to Engage eNews, with free virtual art education projects for youth and adults, in depth looks at artwork in our current exhibitions, virtual tours and more!
  • Check out our Online Resources page with art activities and lessons that you can do at home

If you are an artist in need of assistance please apply for funding from The NC Artist Relief Fund (NCARF). NCARF is a collaboration between Artspace, PineCone, Theatre Raleigh, United Arts Council, and VAE Raleigh.

NCARF Square

NCARF helps artists across the state who are financially impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. There are several local funds that have been established in counties across North Carolina (a full list is available here). We are working with the leaders of local funds to ensure we do not duplicate efforts and that every donated dollar goes as far as possible towards helping our creative community.

Tours must be small groups (10-15 people) and all youth tours are required to have a minimum of two adult chaperones.

Please give Artspace at least 30 days notice for your tour, so that we are able to schedule docents and artists to be available. Please fill out the Tour Request Form set up your tour today!
