LESLIE PRUNEAU is an award-winning painter and assemblage artist with a 40-year career highlighted by national and international exhibitions. Her work, which is often inspired by time spent in nature, explores how the natural world parallels our own human emotions and experiences. With 25 years of experience as a painting and drawing instructor, she also gives public lectures, offers critiques, and has served as a juror for major art competitions. After living in New York City and Berlin, Germany, she now maintains a full-time studio at Artspace in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.
