MELISSA JO GORDON received her MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her work spans a wide variety of mediums and scales. She has exhibited her work across many platforms including designing two 100 foot long relief sculptures for a pedestrian tunnel in Boulder, Colorado and collaborating on a multimedia theatrical work as part of the Without Walls Festival in La Jolla, California. In this time period of climatic uncertainty, her work centers around the tension of deconstruction, reconstruction, renewal, and hope.
