
Jane Cheek’s Immersive Installation at IBMA
Rolling Down A Hill And Staring At The Sky is an immersive kinetic installation by Artspace Studio Artist Jane Cheek (Studio 217) commissioned by Artspace, City of Raleigh, PineCone, and Visit Raleigh.
The installation celebrates the 10th annual IBMA Bluegrass Live! The installation will be on exhibition inside the Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh from September 29 to October 2.

About Jane Cheek
Jane Cheek is a Raleigh-based mixed media artist, working primarily in suspended sculpture and public art. Her work memorializes personal experiences in immersive formats and seeks to share the feeling of joyful memories through large scale, kinetic, and interactive installations. Jane offers glimpses into her daily life as a Southern queer woman to help create connections.
