Paul Gala is an artist living in Chapel Hill, NC. His artistic journey began while living as a student in Paris, France in the early 1990’s. While there, he was fortunate enough to study French art and history. He continues his education by attending classes and workshops and studying with various great artists, most recently David Dunlop. Gala also holds a B.A. in Economics from St. John Fisher College.
Gala’s work is currently exhibited at Main Street Gallery, Carrboro, NC. His works have been exhibited in one-person, two-person and group shows and auctions in several venues including the North Carolina Museum of Art (June 2013), Fine Arts League of Cary, Visual Arts Exchange, Campbell House Galleries in Southern Pines, LabourLove Gallery in Durham, Fleet Feet Gallery in Carrboro, Cary Gallery of Artists, and The ArtsCenter in Carrboro. Gala also participated in a collaborative fine arts book project to benefit The Haw River Assembly and his work is published in the book, Tree: a Community of Artists Exploring the Meaning of Nature.
Gala’s work is held in private collections and he is continually grateful to no longer be working in the Finance industry.
