Margaret Gaskin-Tuell

Raleigh, NC 27616

Margaret Gaskin-Tuell always loved to paint as a child with watercolors on any type of paper. She would paint trees, birds, and people. Her love for art grew as she grew. Throughout her school years, she painted only with watercolors. Gaskin-Tuell decided she would try oil painting to see if it would be as good a medium for her as watercolor. She was so overjoyed with her experience with oil painting that she didn’t want to go back to watercolors. However, since acrylic paints are as forgiving as oil paint, she now has two mediums to use in capturing the essence of life.
