Stroll + Roll

Stroll and Roll

Join us for our 1st Annual Springtime Stroll & Roll! May 21-23, 2021 // Presented by Citrix

Take a stroll or roll around downtown Raleigh to support Artspace! The Stroll and Roll course will take you past public art pieces, art galleries, and art loving businesses plus you’ll have a chance to win awesome prizes!

Help raise money for Artspace by asking your friends, family, employers, etc. to sponsor your stroll/roll through donations to your personal Artspace fundraising page. The event takes place over three days so you can participate when it’s convenient for you. Both the Downtown Route and Bike Route start and end at Artspace and we’ll have free make and take art activities, interactive art projects, and you can visit with our studio artists!

Registration is free. After registration, you’ll receive an email containing your unique fundraising link, sample wording to use when sharing your fundraising link, and a map of the route.

Accessibility Information

We strive to make this event as accessible as possible. The Downtown Route is stroller and wheelchair accessible. Families with children and/or pets are all encouraged to join. Artspace is a pet-friendly building; service animals and furry friends are all invited inside.

Audio files of the Downtown Route will be made available that include audio descriptions of the stops and information about the businesses along the route. A visual guide of the Downtown Route with images of the stops will also be available.

If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact our Accessibility Coordinator, Brett Morris at bmorris@artspacenc.org or call 919-821-2787.

Downtown Route

This route is approximately 1.7 miles long and should take on average, about 45 minutes to complete. The route takes place in downtown Raleigh with lots of other people and traffic present. The route stays on sidewalks at all times and uses safe crosswalks at all crossing points.

Bike Route

The bike route is approximately 10 miles long and should take at a leisurely pace, about 1 hour to complete. The route includes streets and greenways and parts of the route do not have bike lanes. The route goes throughout downtown Raleigh and includes both flat and hilly areas. This route is best suited for intermediate level riders and above. We recommend adults preview the route to ensure it is appropriate for children before bringing children on the ride.

Don’t have a bike, but want to do the bike route? Registered participants will receive a code for free use of a Citrix Cycle for the event.
