Collectors Gala

Artspace welcomed a record crowd of 485 business leaders and art enthusiasts on Saturday, November 19th for its annual Collectors Gala and 25th Anniversary Celebration. The evening raised an unprecedented $105,000 towards Artspace’s mission. The Collectors Gala is Artspace’s primary annual fundraiser, supporting its open artist studios, acclaimed local and national exhibitions, and community outreach programs.

“We were so pleased to have so many community leaders and art lovers in attendance,” said Executive Director Mary Poole. “I can’t think of a better celebration of Artspace’s 25th anniversary than an evening with its artist, friends, and supporters.”

The evening featured a cocktail hour, the unique opportunity to enjoy dinner in the artist studios, and both a silent and live auction of artwork donated by generous and talented local and national artists. The event was co-chaired by Virginia Yopp and Beth Alley, with honorary chairs Charles Meeker and Anne McLaurin. Mayor Meeker said “The Artspace Gala was better than ever – great crowd, outstanding dinner and fine art!”

“The Collectors Gala owes its success each year to the continued and dedicated support of our sponsors,” continued Poole. “We thank everyone who participated in the event this year and can’t wait to see what the next 25 years will bring to Artspace.”
