Transform old recycled books into sculptural masterpieces!
Young artists will create a one of a kind design based on a theme of their choosing. The final masterpiece can include materials such as paint, lace, ink, stamps, jewelry, cutouts, digital art, found objects and anything else that supports the artist’s vision. Join the Altered Book Adventure!

Painting: Cityscape Mural Painting

During this interactive class, students will be immersed in the styles and techniques of mural painting. Working as team, the class will create a collaborative mural based on a cityscape theme. Make new friends and paint an imaginative scene that will be visible to the public!

Using embroidery techniques and painting, students will create unique embellished artworks on canvas. Students will also learn to stretch their own canvas, creating art that is ready to hang on their walls!.

Take hand building to a new level! Students will use the basic essential hand-building techniques in this class to explore our creativity. Create a functional tea pot or pitcher, an imaginative clay sculpture, a mini sarcophagus to hold personal treasures and more. Students will also use colorful underglazes and learn Sgraffito. Your imagination is the limit in this class!
