ARTSPACE SUMMER ARTS PROGRAM VOLUNTEER

Volunteering for the Artspace Summer Arts Program can be a fun and extremely rewarding experience. A list of expected duties include:

ASAP Volunteers

Being a reliable aid to the instructor whose class you are assigned-including set-up for art projects, assisting students during art projects, and classroom clean up
Assisting students with sign-in and sign-out
Being a responsible monitor over students before morning classes and during their lunch periods

Three shifts are available to volunteers. The Summer Arts Program 2010 is June 14 - August 14, no classes the week of July 5, 2010.

First Shift - 8:15am to 12:45pm
Second Shift -12:15pm to 4:45pm
Full Day – 8:15pm to 4:45pm

This volunteer experience is tailored to high school students, but any interested volunteer over the age of 16 may apply. Artspace will credit students with either 20 or 40 volunteer hours per week to be used towards fulfilling graduation requirements.
Mandatory training session June 3, 5pm.
