Deadline: Rolling

Now accepting applications for exhibitions running Jan-Dec 2020.

Applications are restricted to Artspace Artist Members only.

Artspace is seeking innovative work for solo and/or group exhibitions from artists working in all media for the Upfront Gallery.

Exhibitions typically run for 4 weeks with an opening reception being held during First Friday Gallery Walks. Many exhibitions include an artist’s talk or demonstration. Exhibitions are free and open to the public. All exhibitions are supported through press and are insured. Artspace provides a pricelist and displays artist statements and bios with each exhibition. While Artspace emphasizes the educational aspect of the exhibitions, works of art may be for sale. Artspace takes a commission of 40% on works sold in our galleries.

Artspace’s gallery space is fully accessible and we strive to make the submission process accessible for artists as well. We encourage anyone to submit for our open calls for art. If you need any additional information or accommodations in order to enter a call for art please contact Annah Lee at 919.821.2787 or alee@artspacenc.org.
