Mary Kay Kennedy is the Development & Communications Associate at Artspace. Her previous experience is in gallery management and she has a B.F.A. in Photography. She is very involved with the art community and volunteers her time to the Visual Art Exchange and other local art organizations. She has been involved with the SPARKcon arts festival for the past seven years and currently serves as a ‘bobblehead’ helping to oversee the 4 day event. She lives in Raleigh with one dog, one cat, one tortoise, one fish, one husband, and two children.

Artist Bio:

For over a decade, Jason Dowdle has provided the area’s top artists with high-end imagery designed to present their work professionally. Dowdle’s images have helped artists jury into some of the top shows in the country, including The Smithsonian Craft Show and also to gain entry into top professional guilds and organizations including the American Craft Council.

Dowdle’s images have appeared in numerous magazines including covers for American CraftCeramics MonthlySunshine Artist and American Style. His work has been featured in two major, nationally-published books, each of which included over 100 of his photos, and has appeared in numerous other books and magazines on arts and crafts over the last twelve years.
