Kleinstreuer is a California native. She has lived in Raleigh since 1984. She has been a full-time painter since 1995 and currently shares a studio at Artspace. Kleinstreuer divides her time between Raleigh, the California Bay Area, and Christchurch, NZ. Her work has been exhibited throughout the country.
