Feissel grew up in New England and studied painting at Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia. After graduation, Feissel continued her studies in Philadelphia through classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and Fleisher Art Memorial. Fiessel relocated to Raleigh, NC in 2007 and has shown work at Galerie Cupillard in Grenoble, France, and Karin Sanders Fine Art in New York.
