CSA Artist Spotlight: King Nobuyoshi Godwin

The Artspace CSA is a great way to buy local and support artists. Six Artspace member artists have been selected to participate in our second annual CSA. Each will produce a series of 40 works of art; the resulting 2017 CSA collection will contain one work of art from each artist. Find out more about each of the participating CSA artists in this series.

How long have you been a member?

Two years.

How and when did you know you were an artist? 

Three years ago.

Tell us about your artistic process.

I have great idea of feelings associate with colors and numbers.  Just enjoy coloring.

What can collectors expect from your contribution?

Very fun colorful sweet paintings that makes all smiles.

What does being a part of the CSA mean to you? 

I am proud to be selected and represent “artist” group.

What do you hope to get out of this experience? 

That I put more pride into my works as an artist in Raleigh.

Tell us something about yourself that may surprise people:

I swim like fish.

About Brett Morris

Brett is the Programs Assistant at Artspace, Inc. He graduated from NC State University in 2013 with a BA in Art + Design and has years of experience in helping to run a summer arts program, having been a counselor and a coordinator at the Design Camp at CAM Raleigh and NCSU. He is also a skilled photographer, graphic designer, screen printer, and has organized and installed exhibitions.
