Thank You for Creating with Artspace

Thank you for another wonderful summer!

From June to August, Artspace’s Summer Arts Program offered more than 60 classes for children and adults. Our classrooms, studios and galleries were once again energized by the creative work of our local community.

I had such a great time meeting you and your amazingly creative young artists. The highlight of my year is getting to know all of you, see your children developing their talents with our teaching artists, challenging themselves, trying all kinds of new techniques, meeting new friends, and creating art that gets better all summer long.

Family Fun Day was an all out celebration of our vibrant community of art loving families! Thank you for making it such a success. You made great shadow puppets to animate the windows of the Education Room, gave each other crazy creative tasks to accomplish in the lobby, and showed off your bookmaking skills while making your own sketchbooks! Artspace’s hallways and galleries were filled with hundreds of parents and children, joining together in appreciation of the young talent that was on display in the youth exhibition of over 450 works of art! These were proudly displayed, admired and collected while plans were made for what we could all accomplish together next year. I can’t wait!

If you missed the fun and excitement last Saturday, check out some of the photos below for a recap. I hope to see you all here again next year!
