I see my recent work being concerned with the visual effects of accumulated life experiences, as an exploration of gender identifiers in US society, and as the results of unrestrained use of undefined technique- but I could be wrong.

A native of the Bronx, NY, Jean retired in 2008 from Arts NC State at NCSU and now resides in Durham. He has exhibited both paintings and sculpture in numerous shows throughout the US. He earned a BFA in studio art from Old Dominion University and an MA in studio Art from Purdue University His work has been represented by JoAnne Dobrick of Dobrick Gallery in Chicago.
